IndieGro is excited to announce the launch of our Film Showcase page, dedicated to celebrating and promoting independent films from around the world.

We invite filmmakers to submit their works for a chance to be featured on our platform. Our showcase will highlight shorts, features, and documentaries, offering a diverse range of voices and stories.

Submission Categories

Short Films

  • Definition: Films with a runtime of up to 40 minutes.
  • Genres: All genres welcome.
  • Prize: Featured spot on IndieGro with promotional support.

Feature Films

  • Definition: Films with a runtime of over 40 minutes.
  • Genres: All genres welcome.
  • Prize: Featured spot on IndieGro with promotional support and an in-depth filmmaker interview.

Documentaries

  • Definition: Non-fiction films of any length.
  • Genres: All documentary styles welcome.
  • Prize: Featured spot on IndieGro with promotional support and a dedicated feature article.

Criteria for Submissions

We are looking for films that embody creativity, originality, and strong storytelling. To ensure a smooth submission process, please adhere to the following criteria:

  1. Film Quality: High production value, including sound, cinematography, and editing.
  2. Originality: Unique and compelling narratives or perspectives.
  3. Completion Date: Films completed within the last three years.
  4. Format: Vimeo link to the full film. Ensure the link is accessible and password-protected if necessary (please provide the password in the submission form).
  5. Submission Window: Submissions will be accepted for a 60-day window.
  6. Language: Non-English films must include English subtitles.
  7. Rights: Submitter must have the rights to the film and all its content.
  8. Additional Materials: Include a brief synopsis, filmmaker biography, and any promotional images or posters.

Submission Process

  1. Prepare Your Film: Ensure your film meets all the criteria listed above.
  2. Upload to Vimeo: Upload your film to Vimeo and secure it with a password if needed.
  3. Complete the Submission Form: Fill out our online submission form with all required details, including the Vimeo link and password.
  4. Submit: Send your completed form within the 60-day submission window.
